Newfoundland is noted for terrific hiking, and Trinity Bight (particularly the Skerwink Trail) is one of the top ten hiking destinations in all of North America.

Aside from it being a great hike, it is a magnificent landscape to view from our deck, day or night!
The trailhead for Fox Island Hike is located in the village of Champney's W, just north on #230, exit the highway at Champney's, connecting Fox Island by an isthmus.
Horse Chops Trailhead is situated at the far side of English Harbour.
Foxes, whales, & eagles can be seen on the land, sea and sky as one hikes the blustery trail!

The Lighthouse has been on Cape Bonavista since 1842. The original lantern is no longer functional, but the public are welcome to tour the site.
