Thank you so much for accommodating us in August. We had a very relaxing stay. The property is breathtaking. Very clean, beautiful and convenient location. Our friends loved it as well. Already talking about a returned trip there in the future. We would
recommend it to anyone looking for a lovely getaway in Trinity Bight.

We had a fantastic week at Commander's Keep. What a lovely, lovely home and location. Catherine has thought of everything to make you feel at home and comfortable - absolutely everything. She even left us a "happy anniversary" card. The views are BREATHTAKING!
LOVED the kitchen. Loved the deck. Loved everything. The only thing that would have made it absolutely perfect would have been a whale sighting (but I was there off season) ... will have to go back in the summer!

Thank you Catherine & David, Josephine and Hedley for helping make our time at our family reunion in NL such a success. We stayed at Commander's Keep for a week at the beginning of August 2014. My family is from the Trinity Bay area and I didn't know such
a gorgeous place existed. Your home is incredible, we were so happy and comfortable there we often didn't want to leave to go to our various reunion functions. It is a wonderful thing that you share this beautiful place, the views alone are worth the trip.
Thanks again!

We stayed at CK for four days in the mid fall of 2013. We've been vacationing in Trinity Bight for the past ten years, on a regular basis, and have rented a half dozen other properties in the area, numerous times, over the years. Commander's Keep tops
them all. Pure bliss!

MaggieTrot Wisconsin Could not have been more perfect! Left on 10/06/2013 for a stay in September 2013
My husband & I wanted privacy, a view & comfort. It was all included with the extras. We enjoy grocery shopping within the
local community & doing our own cooking. The kitchen had plenty of high quality pans, & equipment to make it fun. And nice big coffee & tea mugs! Every window had a lovely view. The view from the deck was outstanding. We are birders so there was always
something to see on the water or flying nearby. The lighthouse directly across the bay finished the picture perfectly. It was difficult to motivate ourselves to get out & explore the local area as we planned, too many delights just sitting on the deck listening
to the waves or walking down the long driveway & strolling through the beautiful little village of Trinity.

This was an amazing home for my husband & I to spend a week- plenty of great cooking equipment in the kitchen- nice big coffee mugs, beautiful furnishings, so many small personal details that truly made it feel like a
special place. The view off the back deck was gorgeous- gulls flying at eye level- a lighthouse perched on the point into the bay- the lovely little village spread out below the front of the house. We often stay in vacation homes, this one has exceeded
any of them.

A Great Place To Stay” Reviewed 25 July 2013 for a stay in July 2013 by Bernd M (Deutschland) Some people say things always look better on photos... in this case reality is just as beautiful. When we arrived at the house we found that the
pictures we based our booking decision on, had not promised too much. A double-sided fire place divides a cosy living room and a spacious kitchen (equipped with anything you need) and dining area. The interiour decoration shows great attention to
detail and each window offers a nice and sometimes spectacular view - either towards the bay and lighthouse or towards the town. The water-front patio/deck invited many times to sit down and enjoy a gorgeous scenic view with a cup of coffie or glass of
wine. We even got to watch a whale finding his way into the bay. Not only the kitchen but the entire house is equipped with everything you need and mosquito screens at the windows keep away unwelcome visitors. We, though, always felt welcome and
it was comforting to have a helpful and supporting contact person (the manager of the house) in town.

“COMMANDER'S KEEP: WONDERFUL PROPERTY!” Reviewed 28 April 2012 Wonderful Property at COMMANDER'S KEEP
Gord (Saskatchewan) Review submitted: November 27, 2011 Date of arrival: October 14, 2011
Excellent property and all was
as advertised. Great 10 day stay. Wonderful views. Absolutely nothing negative to say about property. We were looking for laid back area and experience Newfoundland and found it here. Driving the local area and BonaVista taking all side roads gave us the local
flavor. We were late in the seaon so all pretty quiet. Very limited shopping but only 40 minutes to Clarenville where all available. You should arrive with all your food staples, meat and produce. Although there is a small store and gas available 3 kilometers
from the house. Well treated and contact persons live in town and very helpful. Fairly sharp drop 20 feet in front of building, great view but watch the kids. Not a swimming area but this is the rock. Must to have a car. Clean, clean, clean. Would recommend
to friends and family if they are looking for a getaway. This is not night club county. Liquor available in most all stores. Dining and wine in quaint atmosphere within walking distance. The entire community is walkable but car required to see anything outside
of this community. Would return. GW
